CodeHider.com provides a client-side tool for obfuscating JavaScript code. The Service is designed to make your code more difficult to read and reverse-engineer. All processing of your code occurs within your web browser; we do not upload, store, or inspect your source code on our servers.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the code you choose to obfuscate using our Service.
  • You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • You are responsible for keeping a secure backup of your original, unobfuscated source code. Do not rely on our tool or any other tool as a storage solution for your original code.

3. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights to the code you submit to the Service. We claim no ownership over your original or obfuscated code. We own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service itself, including the website, branding, and the obfuscation engine.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM:

  • THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
  • ANY BUGS, PERFORMANCE ISSUES, OR FUNCTIONAL ERRORS IN THE OBFUSCATED CODE.
  • THE LOSS OF YOUR ORIGINAL SOURCE CODE.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
